NOVA REFUGE
::
My brother, Justin "Saber-Scorpion" Stebbins, has been writing a series of science fiction novels based around his own universe – Nova Refuge – for many years, and my sister and I have helped along the way. We hope to enlarge Nova Refuge into a vast science fiction universe with many novels, and someday even video games and films. You can visit Nova Refuge's official website
for more information about it. Visit www.novarefuge.com for more information.
WYLFGARD :: My sister, Maegan Stebbins, is writing a series of fantasy stories based around her own fantasy world, Wylfgard. My brother is helping a lot, and I guess I have contributed a little. Hopefully I will find time to contribute more toward it as well in the future. Visit www.wylfgard.com for more information.
MGSONLINE.NET :: On August 25, 2003, I bought the domain name MGSOnline.net and set up the website "Metal Gear Solid Online," which was a fan-site dedicated to the Metal Gear game series. I went through many, many elaborate website designs for MGSOnline.net, and it was during this period of time that I gained a tremendous amount of knowledge about creating websites and graphics. Shortly after purchasing MGSOnline.net's domain name, I also acquired a domain name for my personal site, RyanStebbins.com. In September of 2004, I changed Metal Gear Solid Online to Multiple Games Source Online, thus allowing me to write reviews and critique any games that I liked instead of only the Metal Gear game series. The new version of the website concentrated mainly on three games series: the Metal Gear series, the Halo series, and Tom Clancy games. I also wrote a few reviews for various other games, some of which I wrote under contract, in which case I received the game for free, along with a small payment.
THE SABER CLAN :: Back around the year 1999, my brother Justin and I started an online gaming clan for Star Wars: Jedi Knight Dark Forces II, which played online at the MSN Gaming Zone. It was from this online gaming clan that I acquired the screen name "Saber_Ryan1." Jedi Knight sparked an interest in editing video games for my brother and I. We made levels and modifications for the game, and the first level that my brother made for it, the Mos Espa RPG, became immensely popular and is now considered a classic among the Jedi Knight community. We closed The Saber Clan on May 30th, 2002. Despite many attempts by ex-Saber members to remake the clan, it has never been accomplished.
